Softball
a) Removed the restriction for a player to play on no more than two teams from any one league.
A person may be on the roster of any team, provided they are not on more than one roster in any one division, and provided players play on only one team in any one tournament.
b) Added a requirement for Masters and Seniors teams to have verification of age requirements during FAS sponsored tournaments.
In addition, the tournament director reserves the right to verify applicable age requirements for all Masters and Seniors teams.
c) Removed the exception for Women’s League. The Women’s League will now use the FAS 1-1 Rule for all games.
d) Amended to allow that one player may have a courtesy runner each half inning and as often as that player requires during each half inning.
Basketball
a) The 24 second rule: During a shot from the court, when the ball is in the air and the 24 second signal sounds, if the ball touches the rim, the game will no longer be stopped;
(b) Time-outs: Five charged time-outs may be granted to each team during normal playing time; two charged time-outs anytime during the first-half (1st and 2nd periods) and three charged time outs anything during the second-half (3rd and 4th periods). The time-out rules for overtime are unchanged;
(c) Jump balls: Except for the beginning of the first and second half and any overtime, all jump balls are eliminated and managed according to the alternating possession rule.
Volleyball
a) All matches shall be best three-of-five games.
b) Games shall be played to 25 points (no cap), and the fifth and deciding game shall be played to 15 points (no cap).
c) The let serve shall be allowed, and play shall continue provided net contact is entirely within the net antennas.
d) Each team shall be allowed two time-outs per game, with a total of 10 time-outs if five games are played.
